The Liberty Hill Fire Department is the Williamson County Emergency Service District #4. It began as a volunteer fire service but has progressed to having paid operations personnel, administrative staff and one fire marshall. It focuses on providing preventative and critical emergency services for residents and businesses in Liberty Hill.
