Mary Poche

 Mary A. Poche’, Director of Economic Development for Liberty Hill, has over 17 years in economic development with roles specifically in Central and North Texas as well as in Northern New Mexico.  She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a minor in Business.  Mary has taken all the courses provided by the International Economic Development Council to secure certification to become a Certified Economic Developer.  Work experience prior to economic developer includes a broad base of marketing, business development and event experience in private industry.  The combination of these two work experiences, plus the company she and her husband own in Georgetown, Texas, gives Poche’ the ability to understand what both a business and a community need to thrive together.  Poche’ is a native Texan with turn of the century roots near Liberty Hill with her Czech ancestors settling in nearby Corn Hill, Bartlett, Taylor and Granger.
