Demetrice L. Gonzalez

Demetrice L. Gonzalez, Vice President of the Economic Development Corporation for Liberty Hill, Texas has over four years of experience working in her current role. Demetrice is a graduate of Saint Leo University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She is a graduate of Webster University with a Master of Arts in Business Organizational Security Management. A graduate of the Texas Department of Public Safety Command College, her work experience and education include strategic leadership and organizational planning. Demetrice served both in the United States Marine Corps and United States Army. Demetrice retired in 2021 as a First Sergeant after serving 22 years of faithful service. Raised in Okinawa, Japan, she is excited to call Texas her home since 2003. She purchased her retirement home in Liberty Hill in 2017. Demetrice’s passion is her volunteer projects supporting local communities which provide support to our Veterans and youth. She currently works part-time with the Liberty Hill Independent School District while she attends school. She decided to stay with Liberty Hill EDC to continue to support small businesses and encourages growth with new businesses where our children and seniors can enjoy for years to come.
